The Bible defines love as a deep affection or devotion to someone or something. Throughout the Bible we see love mentioned beginning in the Old Testament. “Love is a very powerful thing; Love covers all sins,” (Prov. 10:12) “God is love” (1john 4:8) and “God so loved the world.” (John 3:16)
